Whelen 3rd Brake Light Talon Question

Quick question on the 3rd Brake Light Talon that Whelen made for the Crown Vics.

I was looking at a cigarrete lighter plug made by Ultra Bright Lightz, as I was thinking of getting one of the 3rd Brake Light Talons, but it lists there being the option of a postive or negative charge model. Which one should be used for this application?

For the third brake light talon I believe you want positive switching. The pattern trigger wire, unless the original factory flasher was swapped out is triggered by 12v pos.
