Do you know if the 5000 strobes were ever offered in a master/slave version? My dad had a 1968 Cadillac S&S ambulance with two of those on it and it was said that they alternated in a double flash. Could be that they just looked synced. Needless to say, they were the reason there was never another strobe light on any of his other ambulances...lol

I cannot think of any reason why a pair of 5000's could not have been synchronized via a single control box, Whelen did it with the smaller, model Dual Strobe 2700 and their strobe bar systems.

Right, one power supply, 2 "F" light heads. I remember the aluminum cased power supply being mounted on top of the bar more to one side than the other.


NH State Police used these bars.

Actually, these images have only very recently become unavailable. Something appears to have been changed on the elightbars-internal-data.s3.amazonaws.com bucket since the last time I posted corrected links for some other images posted around the same time frame.
