I have a Whelen CenCom control head (P/N 01-0285909-00A) which I wanted to use with a Whelen Sapphire. It turns out that Head is actually for a Whelen CenCom Red (at least my small Google research came to that conclusion). I don't have the original cable for the head sadly.
When I connect the head to the Brain (the Brain only has Plus/Minus/Ignition connected) the Head does not activate any function and even the slide switch is not doing anything. But all buttons illuminate green instead (backlight) immediately when I power up the Brain. So I assume, despite the same looks, that the wiring/pinout on the head is different. Does anyone know the exact difference for the wiring by any chance? Or even better has details on the RJ45 to 6/8 pin mapping?
