Has there ever been an official California spec Whelen Crossbar setup? If not has there been any Whelen Crossbar setups that have meet California specifications for emergency lighting specifically for police use from the 60s through 80s timeframe?

Are there any known examples? I never saw a whelen beacon, can light or any other classic accessory in steady burn red, and or wig wag amber in rear.

Wasn't there a Whelen 5200 that was in California spec? How did that work?

Let me dig through my pile. I have seen it mentioned as "all cross bars available in CA versions". I have some schematics for the 8000 version.
