For Sale Whelen Edge 8 Strobe Lightbar 48"

I'm selling my Whelen Edge 9000 lightbar in all blue. The bar was manufactured in '01 and got newer lenses a few years back. There are eight strobes, two takedowns, two alley lights (Do not flash in pursuit mode) and rear amber halogen flashers. The bar also has halogen cruise lights on the corners. Is it 48" and comes with the mounting hardware Asking price $500

Do you know what Edges go for on here? Even with good lenses that lightbar isn't worth $400. I think you'd be lucky to get $175 for it.

I've seen ones on eBay for 300 plus. I was going by a little under what I bought it for, but good to know.

Selling on eBay and selling on elightbars are two totally different beasts. There are generally much higher prices on eBay because the buyers are less informed. The sole purpose of ELB is for warning equipment so most members know what stuff goes for.

A little harsh on the delivery there. Alex, I'm a huge fan of edges and I always keep tabs on the ones for sale here. 400 is definitely a lot for one of these now, even if it is in great shape. You may have better luck selling it without lenses on ebay, and selling the lenses here (lenses alone here in good shape can fetch a good price), or selling it on craigslist locally. You can just about buy a whole pallet of old Edges for not much more than that at auctions now.
