Whelen Freedom not working

I have a Whelen Freedom made in 2004 model FL8RRBB. It was being removed from a vehicle as it was no longer needed.
The guy who removed it cut the cables at the roof line with bolt cutters and when they did it sparked as they cut the cables. It was going to be thrown in the trash but was given to me.
When I try to power it up I get nothing at all. I checked the three 15 amp fuses and four 7.5 fues and they are still good. any idea what needs to be replaced to get it to work?
Thanks

I’d pull it all apart and start one light head at a time and test each one. Once you’re satisfied the lightheads are OK, then that narrows it to the IO board.

Idk how familiar you are with but they have a couple versions from a controlling standpoint which can effect how u test and install them.

Look up the model number and wire as Whelen recommends. If it still doesn’t work a replacement IO board is pretty cheap on eBay.

Good luck,
Seth

Test each individual head first. If they all work then the LC board is probably shot and will need replaced. Several folks here have them for sale pretty cheap. Another alternative is to use a whelen ULF44 flasher.

Thanks!
I'll check test them this weekend.
