Is there anything special needed to be done for this type of install? If I recall correctly, some firetrucks have 2 batteries making them 24 volts. The freedom requires only 12. Just wanted to ask the pros before I go frying a light bar. Thanks!

Fire Apparatus run with 2 batteries in parallel, so they are still 12 volt systems, but this increases the available amperage. Unless this is a old Military truck, it is probably 12 volt. So the Freedom should be fine since the truck is running at 12 volts.
