Looking to install a whelen freedom on a gmc sierra crew cab. Where would be the optimal location for mounting on the cab. I used to center the feet between the front and rear door.

I thought about a back rack but I think they make the lightbar sit up too high.

Its always strong on the edge. I think what i referring to is how far back on the roof should I place it. Should it be over the front doors only or half front and half back.

When I put the lightbar on my 01 crew cab 2500hd, I put it in the middle of the doors... and, now, Im going to move it forward, possibly going to line the back of the feet up with the back edge of the front door.. but thats just me
