installed a Whelen inner edge on my 2012 Ram 2500.
I love this thing.
It's tight as hell to the windshield but, I still get a 3" strip of light across the top of the dash as well as the glow on the windshield . It's quite annoying and disappointing ..
It seems like the light comes 90 degrees off the end of the rubber stip where it meets the glass and shines strait down.
Anyone have a good solution or trick to this?

If I place a 2" piece of anything just under the light on the windshield its solves the problem very strange. But that kinda defeats the purpose of the slim design if I have to stick something to the glass under the light head.

Thoughts. .
Thanks

The troopers around here use weather stripping like you buy at a hardware store. I've used poster board with decent results. But both of those were only to get it right to the windshield, which it sounds like you've already done.

I got a sheet of 1/16" black foam from my local craft store and cut a 1-1/4" strip that matched the curvature of my lightbar, superglued it so only 1/2" was sticking out past the end of the lightbar. Looks super neat and give me ZERO flash back on either the windshield or dashimage.jpeg
