I am trying to figure out a way to install a pair of whelen ions on the front headliner of a 2011 ford f150. I would like to stay away from a custom bracket if at all possible. I'm open to any and all ideas, Thanks in advance for any help!
If you find that the standard Universal Mount Ion brackets interface with your headliner in such a way that the Ions are aimed at an undesirable angle, you may be able to use Whelen's IONK1B swivel bracket:
You're kind of in a tough spot with universal ions for a windshield. Whelen Woodway in the UK makes these pods that mount to the windshield. You might have to pay a little bit extra for shipping but it might be worth it. Soundoff Signal in the US makes the same exact thing which might be easier to get, but I can't tell you if an ion fits or not. Would most likely need some modifying.
