hello i need help i just recived a whelen lfl led sc bar, there is no controller with it. i no i need a controller to use it but i dont no what one i need. i have a mpc01 controler and program box,cables,ect but when i try to rewrite the program there is no choice for a lfl led bar in the menu,programer is 5.3.3, it was for a b link strobe 9000 sc bar format,it there a new or different program i need or do i need a different controler poss a can-bus? dont no please help i love this bar and i need it iam a vol capt on long island and go to the scene in my per/vechical, so i need it to work thanks jim please reply to our41@yahoo.com

Open the program
Click the EQUIPMENT tab
Under COMPONENTS click the "0" and make it a "1" next to "Lightbar"
Click the CHARACTERIZE tab
To the left, highlight "Ultra-01"
Once hightlighted click the "change" button that appears
A window will open that allows you to configure your lightbar for the rest of the setup process.
Or if you are modifying an already programmed MPC01, download the info from the MPC01 and go through the same process above. Make sure the programming involves a lightbar then go to the CHARACTERIZE tab. The only difference might be that the lightbar won't be labeled as "Ultra-01," but a different type of Whelen lightbar will be listed on the left.

thanks bigcat that worked to some extent. i cant get it to arrow stik, or be able to use butt#9 as dim mode? when it was setup for a strobe bar # 9 was used to but bar in night mode dim. any ideas. plus when i put the controler on slide post#2 and turn on button #9 the bar goes to dim and stopsflashing? thanks jim our41@yahoo.com on long island,ny do you have any mpco1 for sale
