I have a Whelen light head in need of a bulb. I may also need some guidance on how to install it. The bulb was missing when I acquired the light head. Thanks for any assistance.

Bulb can be found new on eBay by searching part number listed on label on reflector (may have to drop the "c" at the end). Basically a 27W halogen bulb with long metal wire leads. You will also need to find the terminal connectors that crimp onto the red/black feed wires and fit the metal wires on the bulb. Not sure what the terminals are called, so don't know what to search for to find them (I asked once but didn't get an answer). Basically the two metal bulb wires fit through the two holes in the reflector bulb socket, get bent to "lock" bulb in, and then connect to red/black wires via the terminal connectors. A nice assembly you have. It's an OSC conversion assembly for a 4000 series flush mount Advantedge (can also be used on a 5000 series but would typically have a bigger reflector). See attached pics.
The simple option is taking an old Edge9000 series alley light or take down assy apart, like this one for example: alley assy Prob can be found cheaper too.
It's a very sweet unit.
