I have two Rota-Beams that I've had for about ten years, and they've never done much for me. I'm thinking of selling them, but I don't want to find out after the fact that they're very collectable and have seller's remorse. In any case, one of them is an RB11 with an amber lens. From what I was told it was never installed or used in a vehicle, but it does have some shelf wear. It does have a brand new looking fiber board "plate" inside the base of the light. Based on the style of the cigarette lighter plug I'm guessing the light is fairly old (1960's?). The other light is a Model 66 with a red lens. The lens does have cracks on the top from the mounting screws being tightened too much (I'm guessing). The labels on both lights say Deep River, CONN (not CT). I'm not sure when state abbreviations were standardized to two letters, but that should give an idea of the approximate age of the lights. Can anyone comment on what I have and their value / rarity? Thank you.
