Whelen Talons with Colored Lens

Has anyone used or own a Whelen Talon with colored lenses? I'm trying to locate some of these lenses in red or blue but wanted to see if it dims the led brightness down when used. I wouldn't think it would do too much however I never used them in the field.

A lens on a white light works by blocking all of the other wavelengths except the desired color. LED's only generate light in the wavelength of their color. Therefore, they are not effected by a colored lens.

I had a red dual talon with red lenses at one time. The LEDS were red and I thought the lenses actually enhanced the color making it a deeper red.
