Anyone have the wiring guide for one, I've searched all over and can't find it. Also, is it regulated or un-regulated? It's mostly sealed, so is it 'waterproof'?

Thanks!

Here is the wiring diagram for it. I'm not sure if it is regulated or unregulated. I'd say it certainly is water-resistant as moisture has been known to get into Edge bars, but I probably wouldn't mount it anywhere that it's going to be constantly exposed to the elements.

Thanks!!

Any idea on the other harness? I got nothing but the 2 wiring bundles coming off it with the 2 plugs. On the second harness, there's 12 wires:

  • brown
  • black #1
  • green
  • white
  • black/white #1
  • white/purple
  • red
  • black #2
  • blue
  • yellow
  • black/white #2
  • grey

Whelen strobes usually go:

Position 1 - Red - Anode

Position 2 - Black - Cathode

Position 3 - White - Trigger

I can look at the "official" wire setup a little later today for you but as long as you have one of each, the strobe should fire.

I think it usually goes

1 Brown

2 Black

3 Green

1 Red

2 Black

3 Blue

1 White

2 Black/White

3 White/Violet

1 Yellow

2 Black/White

3 Gray

The nub on the twelve pin connector is in the first picture on the top left.

I was correct on all counts above. :) Kinda scary.

Is this the official UB412 thread yet??? :haha:

Thanks. It's got the plug on both harnesses, just need to know what wire did what. Now that I have plugs that came in this week from an order, it's another project on the 'to do' list, along with other harnesses that need to be built.

I got several of these power supplies from several SC Ultra Edge 9000 bar. I read the wiring pin out from this thread. I can't seem to get the power supplies to work. I applied power to the red fused wire and a ground to the black but I get nothing from any of the output wires from several of the power supplies that I have tested. Is there anything else that needs to be connected or triggered to turn on the power supply? Are there any other input wires that need to be connected to 12V?

Thanks,
Rob

If I'm reading the second post correctly, you'll have to also apply +12v DC to the grey and/or white wires to activate the pairs of strobe outputs.
