Whelen Ultra Edge B-link lightbar question

Is there any way to get these lightbars to fire without the serial controller?


Considering one for the collection - not for service.

You can get the strobes to work. Direct wire the UB412s and you can use them. Just make sure you don't wire anything to the communication wires. You are limited to two flash patterns though, Comet and Action flash. All the other options of the bar will have to be hardwired as well to get them to work.

Thanks for the response.


So that involves simply opening the bar and applying 12 volts of power to the supply input? Are there more than one power supplies?


Model of interest is 9U728000.
