So my car is a 2020 Explorer, my controller is the 295SLSA6 and I’d like to upgrade to a 21 button whelen system. My question is 1 is that possible to do without having to gut the entire car. Like could I take all the connections off and wire them into the newer systems or would it be a completely rebuild

I really want rear cut, steady burns, etc

Rear-cut is easy to do with any setup.

If you're not already using Wecan or externally flashed lightheads, you won't get full functionality (Steady, brake flash, park mode, etc) without a reconfig. If you're only using single color lightheads, you might get away with setting them to steady and letting the siren control the lightheads without needing to do too much.

I was looking at maybe switching from 295slsa6 to maybe the carbide, that’s plug and play also isn’t it
