Black you can purchase for pennies on the dollar at www.dealextreme.com and I would hazard a guess you can get both colors at any of the larger electronic/wiring supply shops in the US, like digikey, etc)

Probably the same stuff.. you can also probably PM Cajunblitz and ask him what he used..? ;)

Heat shrink is... well heat shrink. Just gotta make sure the stuff you buy will work (slide on) before it has been "shrunk" down.

To be quite honest, I have had fantastic results with the dealextreme versions.. shrink well, thick, and surprisingly well built. Here is a few links:

Actually holds up better than the stuff I bought from Harbor Freight. They just don't have different colors..

Uh... okay.. sorry for saying this, but the title kinda clearly states the info you just asked....

3M Black Heat Shrink Tubing - Five Size Pack (6/7/8/9/10mm) Price: $6.46

1M Black Heat Shrink Tubing (35mm) Price: $3.47

1M Black Heat Shrink Tubing (45mm) Price: $3.99

3M Black Heat Shrink Tubing - Five Size Pack (0.8/1.5/2.5/3.5/4.5mm) Price: $3.84

On second thought, you guys are Not metric.. darn Imperial standards..

1M / 3M = 1 meter / 3 meters

1 meter = 3.28 Feet

3 meter = 9.84 Feet

The mm= Millimeters. see conversion here: http://www.metric-conversions.org/lengt ... inches.htm

The green & black single wall polyfin shrink tube is from Terminal Supply Company in Michigan and is sold in 4' lengths, IIRC. They have other colors as well. I experimented for a while using green instead of red shrink for power connections as a signature and to ID if someone messed with my wiring. I just kind of quit after a while and have standardized with black all around for savings and ease of inventory. I also now typically buy only dual wall adhesive and have been getting it from WayTek most recently, in pre-cut lengths, again for ease of inventory. For the above install, i just kind started wiring one night and used what was on hand. Would have preferred a bit more uniformity. Now, back to lurking...

I still say, that wiring set-up is a thing of beauty!
That it is. Too bad installers spend all this time and effort on a car and it only gets used for a few years. Guess that's just the nature of the beast.
