I'd base it off of what it's going to be used for and how often it would be used. Wouldn't spend a ton of money on something you'd only use a few times.

ya cause it would be used a good amount cause I move a lot of big things and I'm lead truck in heavy moves and pulls so I need extra warning. What I have now is good but I want somethen on top cause I just got the ok to put red in the bar in the back part which is gd. That's why I'm torn between my choices lol

Depending on where you haul through, I'd check the appropriate laws regarding the color of the lighting, ESPECIALLY if you're going to be hauling between several different states. Using the red may get you in trouble.

if it is a small vehicle, go with the whelen liberty. if your truck has any size to it, try the whelen freedom bar

I am a call fire fighter in mass and I can promise you that you CAN NOT use red in the back of your bar. You will be written up for it. You need a red light permit to run red lights either front or rear in the state of Mass. The red light permits are not just giving out. They have to be approve by the R.M.V. So if I were you I would stick to just the amber so you don't get your self locked up.....Remember Mass is VERY strict when it comes to lighting laws. Just my .02 hope I didn't piss any 1 off

Sorry, but it doesn't work that way.

Yes, I can decipher what you are likely trying to say - but it takes some effort and time. Why should I (or anyone) take that effort for someone who doesn't even seem to care about what they are writing? It's your message, therefore it's your responsibility to be understood - not the readers'.

ya i know its pretty clear you could understand what i was tryen to say.if its such a big deal to people about the punctuation and grammar there should be a spell check on this damn forum so its one less complaint with everyone, therefore everyone is happy. just my idea though but this topic is about lightbars not grammar and spelling.

Are you that stupid? What operating system and web browser are you using? Most every browser now days has a spell checker built in...

Also, since you seem to be totally lost on the subject, here are some links that may help you out.. Please watch the following at least 3 times each.. In hopes you will eventually "get it".

Sigh. You still don't get it do you? People are complaining about your posts and content- and I happen to be a moderator, so sadly I gotta try to assist you. I just don't sugar coat stuff. Don't see a need to with adults..

Also, you are on probation for past posting content- I have tried to be helpful and so have others, but you still fail to see that, or attempt to self correct your own issues. Yes, I do get more "blunt" as people disregard what most others are telling them.

Now, I will say it directly- Please, start posting with proper sentence structure, punctuation, and grammar. You also may want to try doing some of your own research- as the lightbar that may be "ideal" for you, may not be ideal for other users on this forum. I gather this lightbar is going to be used on a "escort vehicle" - what make, model, color and year vehicle?

Also, using RED to the rear is MOOT- if you are the "lead" vehicle in front of the convoy/escorted load- unless you want to blind the load driver. I'd actually recommend a almost fully UNPOPULATED rear on the lightbar, or maybe 4 modules total.

I'd also hazard a guess you would be better off with LESS modules in a lightbar, and having multi-level warning, including forward/front side intersection warning. If you are permitted/legal to run them, you would also probably benefit from a HLF, (headlight flasher) and flashing take downs- for more "visibility" to the front. (if you have to take over oncoming traffic lanes- but than IIRC, you would need a police escort as well...?)

alrighty thanks you unlisted for telling me that i do know i am on probation for my past content hahah. i just didnt wanna seem like a jerk or a bastard or anything like that and trust me im not one to back down i will keep going. but how long is the probation for i meant to ask you that. also i am building a lightbar now with takedowns no alleys though i dont need them. Also, i do have side directionals with grill and front windows lights i have a video of my truck in the other pages and its a 2500 dodge ram. I also decided not to run red just because if we cross state lines i dont wanna cause trouble. thanks again unlisted and hope we can put this crap behind us
