Which would be brighter, two LINZ6s or one 400 series?

I'm working on an unusual project and need to decide between mounting a red LINZ6 on top of a blue LINZ6 or just using one 400 series red/blue lighthead. I realize that I will need a ULF44 flasher with the 400 series. I'm probably going to use one either way though, so I can dim the lights if need be (unless there's another way to dim LINZ6s). Anyway, what are y'all's thoughts on those two options (and the dimming issue)?

I would use the LINZ6s. In order to be able to dim them, you are going to need to use steady burn lightheads and an external flasher. Purchase a DP2RB, and a ULF44 and just use the lightheads out of the DP2 with the ULF44.

The 400 series is gonna be brighter and give a better foot print because it uses 2 500 series lin6 heads vs w small lighted with the linz6 its bigger in size but they work well

I'm mounting them on top of each other, to the outside of a small electronics project box. Don't think I'd see any benefit to buying the DP2RB, as I need the lightheads to sit horizontally and on top of each other. On the rear of the project box will be the various switches. This will all be part of a bigger system on a Segway i2 (there will also be R/B LINZ6s on the sides, two LINZ6s on the rear, a center red LIN3 or LINZ6 tail light on the rear, and a siren). All the wiring will tie into this project box though, and on the front of it will either need to be two LINZ6s or one 400 series.
