Y’all must have been asleep, because I just picked up this 176 Beacon Ray on eBay for $76. No, not a Buy-it Now, this was a full 7-day auction. And get this- it has a glass dome. Grand total of $104 including shipping for a working 176 with a glass dome. But that’s not all folks. Look again at the tag. Federal Laboratories, Pittsburgh PA. Serial number comes back to April 1963. Spent about an hour cleaning it up, replaced one bulb with a spare I had, and added base and dome gaskets. Turned out pretty nice, and it’s the only Federal Laboratories piece in my collection. 181FC150-1134-446A-894A-6B7A481AAB36.jpeg0B0F24AB-C9EC-4EEE-AC33-E1A706E8D721.jpeg

Spell check obviously got me on that last post. It was supposed to say I was unsure about the federal laboratories. I hate spell check.

I'm thinking that is a re-badging. I checked, Federal Laboratories manufactures tear gas and tear gas guns.
