Here's a bunch of videos from YouTube of my home city's police service responding as well as some from the OPP detachment next to Windsor. Gotta show some hometown pride!

I didn't record these. It's some fella in the Windsor area who clearly has the encryption keys for Windsor Police as they've been using trunked encrypted systems for eons. Give his channel a look for more videos. There are some good EMS and FD videos too.

A lot of the Windsor Police ones are standoffs an warrants that the Emergency Services Unit were executing. One has OPP's TRU team, which is in the same tier as FBI HRT and a few have OPP's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) unit there for the warrants. ROPE is the provincial fugitive unit and bad guys have a certain fear for them as "ROPE will find you, even if you're on the f*****g moon. Don't matter where you're at, they're gonna get you" as one client put it.

The OPP sirens sound like Whelen, but I'm not sure about the Windsor police cars.

The Chargers with Arjent SLs use SoundOff nERGY 400s. The newer Chargers, the PIUs, ESU trucks and most others use Carbide with the WeCan external amp or possibly CanTrol with the same. They might even be using Cencom Core, given their large budget and long-standing affinity for high end equipment.

OPP used D&R RDS or possibly Intimidators prior to Sapphire.

When did they start using blue? I always thought blue was for snow removal? When I lived there everything was either all red or red and white.

Thank you for sharing.

Ontario switched to red/blue for LE in 2009-2010 iirc. Now EMS and fire use it as well and have been doing so for a few years now.
