wiring for 100 watt speaker

Can I use 2 wires form a 3 wire strobe cable for a 100 watt speaker or should I stick with household lamp wiring?

Yes, most strobe wires are 18g, which will be acceptable.

I would use 16 or 14 gauge for a speaker, strobe cable is only 18 gauge.

Overkill Jared. 100w audio only requires 18g.

I usually use the lamp cord but got alot of strobe cable hanging around.


I'll go with the strobe cable for now.
