Hoping to get some help on how to wire up this siren. Its a collection piece but would like to test it to know if its working properly.. There is one red wire (assuming positive) and 3 beige wires. It's an older unit made by Universal siren instruments. Thank you for looking

The two coming out of the motor are likely the power wires. The little box could be a relay to cycle the siren on and off, or it could be some sort of timer to cycle the siren on and off. I note there is an adjustment on the box, but the photo is partially cut off. It could be a brake for the rotor, but the siren doesn't appear big enough to need one. I mean, it's not a Federal Q2 or similar.

That looks like a car alarm to me. I imagine the box is a motion detector and that the label for the adjustment is marked sensitivity. Are there any other markings on the unit?
