So just picked this bar up, figured I would document its starting point, and try determine what I need to get it working 100%.

Made a quick video to answer some question I was asked about it.

I did give this a power up test several bulbs out, and rotators are toast.
So I will need 2 XL 5000 series rotators, and a replacement driver side dome.

If anyone can give me a hand LMK.

Thanks,

Rob

Wow! A PSE Code3 XL Tow Man bar. I don't think I have seen one of those since the early 1990's.

I agree on this, they are not easily found and I have been on the hunt for one for a friend on mine down in TN. This one needs some TLC, but I've saved bars that were far, far worse.

So some updates on this...
All credit goes to @Leslie who ended up with the bar and did all the work. I just packed and shipped it...

the 1 surviving dome got a total makeover..

This is how it turned out..

This however was not reused on this bar, but it was too nice of a restore not to take some pictures.

Overall I think he did an outstanding job, thanks to @toon80 for the parts required to get it done.

The work lights are gone.
Yeah, doesn't really look like a tow truck bar now. Tow truck bars are known for having rear facing work lights, stop/turn signal lights, and mirrors to direct additional warning flashes to the rear of the truck.

I tend to see it as a working bar, rather then a junk bar. @stansdds makes a valid point, the changes fit for what he wanted.
