XTL5000 rear 25pin connector

Hi everyone,


I have an XTL5000 VHF radio with the 03 control head.


I’m looking for the pinout of the rear 25 pin accessory connector.


Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I do have a MOL account and I can’t seem to find the manual there.

It's a 26 pin connector (2 rows of 7 pins and 2 rows of 6 pins)


1 = DGND


2 = BUS +


3 = BUS -


9 = BUSY


14 = AGND


15 = EM


16 = PTT


20 = RX audio hi (speaker wires)


23 = TX audio hi


24 = SW B+


25 = IGN (probably not needed)


26 = RX audio low (speaker wires)

Nope. It's is a regular DB25 connector.

I ordered an ignition sense and speaker cable but I got the 9 pin one. I would make my own if I know the location of those 3 wires.

Then you need to be more specific, high power or low power, front accessory connector or the rear one?

The front of the radio has 3 round connectors (2 with blue gaskets and 1 with an orange gasket) and a DB25 series accessory connector. The rear has the power connector and an antenna port.
