Thanks John! Just gonna bite the bullet and purchase the appropriate units. My friend wants his plow bar (vintage 9004-AK) to be all strobe, and as such, quick replacement needs to stay as a prerequisite.You can make them work at the expense of the socket. Sometimes the strobes fit and just need some epoxy or silicone to hold them. Other times you have to drill out the the twist lock "teeth". Either way, it is doable at the expense of the socket.
