Boy, those bring back a few memories! I remember my salesman screwing-up an order and sticking us with a case of amber Federal Electraflash beacons. Basically, the Federal version of these. They were cheap but sold awfully
S... L... O... W... We had them stacked-up in a pretty display in the window and everybody had one in their hand for the price they were at. Until they asked to see it "go" (thinking they were strobes)...
"What the hell!" was the usual response...
They all went eventually...they were cheap! I believe I might still have one in the basement of the warehouse...
They actually might still sell these on the industrial side of Federal, for the forklifts and applications as such...
