2016 Ford Interceptor Utility lighting options

Circumstances dictate my next ride will be the PI Utility. In researching the options I see multiple sets of factory lights are available all around the vehicle. I checked the upfitter guide- do I understand it correctly that each set of lights has programmable flashers using Whelen flash patterns? If so, each pair can have independent patterns? And they're programmed/sync'd and triggered by wires run thru plugs inside the center stack?

Save yourself the cash and just get the vehicle upfit locally. Order only the Headlight Prep option so you don't have to drill the headlight housings to put the corner-LEDs in. Other than that, don't let Ford do your upfitting for you. It's way too expensive and you get what they give you - no customization. Also, they will use proprietary parts in many cases, which, if they break, cost 3-4x the price of a non-proprietary option.

aren't the HLF and TLF built in? From there all I want, independently flashed & triggered:
1. white led side warning lights (simult flash),
2. forward pocket warning lamps (steady burn),
3. my own installed behind the grill lights (4) (alt),
4. under-liftgate lights (alt),
5. siren speaker.

I don't believe they are built in but you can order the HLF as an option, I believe. There is no option for TLF on the PI's. Rather, they use some kind of corner-LED in the tail lights (white to the rear, in the Utility)
