I have a 2020 GMC Serria 2500HD, The Canport is not supported by Whelen in the Carbide cable options. Has anyone found a cable that will activate the brake mode and park kill? I took a chance with CC5K2 but does not seem to work.

If anything is going to work, it’s going to be the CC5K9 that plugs in under the passenger seat. If you are courageous, you could just run your K2 cable to the passenger seat, and splice the wires under there without a plug.

But if all that you need is brake and park, you might be better off using hard inputs. Brake should be really easy to tap, park might be more difficult, but Id start probing wires near the shifter.

I hope that something works. I never heard of anything not working until half way through 23, they can no longer pull Can signals from GM. It’s weird that nothing is supported except 2022. Its like they pulled the support after the fact.

I have done 1500 builds with CanPort, although I can’t remember which cable I used though, but I think it was the K2.
