Hello all, I have a really neat light here. All original, works beautifully, and I'm wondering if someone can tell me honestly what I've got here. Thanks in advance.

You have a Federal Signal Model 17 Beacon Ray, 12 VDC, the serial decodes to June, 1968. Your Model 17 has the large diameter dome that was also used on the 4-bulb Models 174, 175, and 176 Beacon Ray. Based on the scuffs and scratches on the dome, it is likely plastic, not glass, but blue domes are highly prized items for Beacon Ray collectors.

Hey y'all I have an all original model 17 blue plastic some fully complete and working. Any idea of what it's worth? Ballpark figure? Or what pics do I need to send and is there any numbers on it I should not share? I just inherited this and I really am clueless. Ty

In @stansdds's response to your initial inquiry in April, the blue dome is more sought after than amber or red, so it raises the value slightly. Based on the pictures above and your statement that it's fully functional (i.e. motor and bulbs work, the dome is not cracked, chipped or crazed, and the skirt hasn't been trimmed), I would value it at between $300 and $350. Of course, with the totally exorbitant prices of vintage lights these days, you could possibly realize more on Ebay or FB Marketplace.

Not sure what you mean by "not sharing numbers." If you are going to sell it, you want to provide as much detail and as many pictures as possible!
