Sup all,

Not 100% what model beacon this is... gonna go with Crownvic's assessment that this is a model 7-40 Deitz Beacon.

It's not complete,  missing a retaining band, dome, and part of the brush that makes contact with the electrical plate to light the lamps.

What this means in Plain english... lamps spin but do not light..

Other then that this beacon is in Excellent shape.   motor runs smooth and quiet and internals show no corrosion and cleaned up to almost NOS.

It also has its rubber gasket and the lag bolts that bolted the beacon down when in use will be included.

Whats NOT included.. the bulbs.. and the Model 14 dome... both are in the pictures for reference purposes.

Since I can't just say Make an offer... I'll toss out $65 obo..   plus shipping

Good Parts beacon.. or base beacon for a restore..

I agree on it being a Dietz 7-40.  Looks like the motor is dated 1989 and in 1980 Dietz ceased putting brass ID badges on their beacons and simply stamped the model number onto the dome retaining band.
