It was on last night

The episode it was on the title said nothing about lightbars - it covered shredders and a few other items...

Looks like it might be repeating on Sci channel tonight..

I DVRed it. It (the show, not the actual building process) was actually a bit more technical than I thought it would be.

I thought it was interesting, could have been more thorough though! And i wonder who the heck ordered that bar with so many take downs? Is DPS running liberties now?

Txdps has had dual takedowns on mx7000's, Freedoms, and now the libertys. Before the mx7000's i do not know a thing. I know alot of the DPS cars did not have spotlights so might be related to that.

I did a search but could not come up with anything, so if this is a repost please delete.

Did anyone happen to catch, "How It's Made" last Friday night? They ran a segment on lightbars, and featured the Whelen Liberty, from the Whelen facility in Charlestown, NH. I've been away, and now back and surprised there is no chatter about it. It was an informative segment and some great shots of the New England demo Charger.

HOLY CRAP. 8 LR11 Take downs? Have more TD power than warning color. I was also disappointed. I was looking more oh the assembly of the I/O Board and the LEDs. I already knew about everything from having taking mine apart before.

Did anybody else notice that it looks like they used strobe edge's at the wrap up of the segment?

Yup, I noticed that. All 3 of the bars, as I recall, were strobe.

I'd be curious what corporate Whelen has to say about that segment - are they happy with the results? If they could change it, what would they change, etc.

It's to show the other options they have available - they had a mini Justice, as well as what appeared to be a midsize Justice with blue lenses.
