Hello,
I'm going to try to convert a Ford Crown Victoria (I don't have one yet) to a LAPD unmarked unit.
I know that the lights are from coplite, but I'm not sure what type of wigwag (headlight flasher) and siren were used.
Is the Federal Signal Unitrol Omega 90 siren correct?
And what type/brand wigwags were used?

what year crown vic are you looking for ? The box model pre 91 or the 92 to 97 ?
On the 1997 crown vic that I saw at the lapd museum they used a code 3 700 series head light wig wag flasher mounted by the battery.

The code 3 700 or 710 flashers were usually sitting around, they modified the aerodynic takedowns to flash in house with them. I would say a code 3 flasher is going to be plenty accurate for the crown vic era.

I’m thinking of a crown vic from ‘99 of newer. I actually don’t have that much choice because there aren’t so many crown vics in Europe. Most of them are from 2005 - 2011

Okay, thank you for the info. I’m going to try to find a code3 flasher.
And is the omega 90 siren the correct siren?
