I built 2 of these for a customer. Its a 2 rotator, 2 strobe, alleys 3 TDs and 3 worklights. I cut the rotator plates to fit the 2 star strobes in, mounted them to the brackets used to mount the rotator plates. Rotators are also Star.

Looks nice, I always love strobe/rotator combos. How do the Star rotators compare to the stock Code 3 rotators?

Same brightness as the freeform c3 rotators, but theyre more durable, they have rubber shock absorber mounts, plus stainless ball bearing rotator shafts. They fit just snuggly into the rotator tray, just had to shave 1/8th of an inch off the rotator top. Im sure If i used the small square reflector from the hotshot lights it would be just perfect, but the hotshot reflector doesnt have mounts for rotator filters

Made this bar at home just bought the Shroud "Aluminum frame" from ELB Member MEVS06 and filled the interior with TIR 3 PODs and TIR 4 AXIXTEC lights this thing has been working for about 2 1/2 years now no problems i recently added 2 CENTER TIR3 White leds from dave and it also has two MR11 Halogen take downs its all hooked up to a FS Smart Siren control head

I Run California Steady Burn RED on one of the LEDs i think it looks cool even though im in TEXAS.

Here's one I just did real quick tonight...

It started the evening as a permanent-mount, direct wire all blue 22" LFL with 4-Strobes, Take-Down and Alley Lights. But I changed the lenses and added a 500 Series Halogen with amber lens couple to a generic flasher, and a 500 Series strobe (clear) coupled to a DashKing power supply. Putting the DashKing power supply in was the trickiest part, I kinda had to force it between the LFL power supply and the basket that the strobe sits in... But its all in, secure, and works great.

Here are some pics of the finished product. I'll try to get a vid or two tomorrow (later today)...

Here's another bar we jst built for a customer... 28" Custom Mini Edge w/ rear work lights AND flashers...

We had to re-wire the bar, cause the wiring that can with it was all cobbled and had mixed and matched colors... The customer wanted a mini bar, but also wanted rear flashers AND work lights... So we took a pair of the Split Halogen 400s from the ULTRA we just got and threw some amber half filters on them. Flashers are being run by a FedSig FA3 flasher, strobes are powered by the stock SL6 that came in the bar.

Some Pics:

Got this thrown together. 2 dual DashMiser housings w/ 4 5mm modules. They're connected via a small 4 wire cable going from the flasher to the other 2 lightheads. Whelen D4 flasher in the light with the power harness coming out of it. Not sure if I'm going to keep this or not. Housings (including Z-brackets, not shown) and lens are all new. All connections are the factory amp/mates for easy changability.

I did the same thing with an Arrowstick housing but with 500 Series LEDs. It was all red and I sold it to Truck26 from here. I got a video but never gotten any pictures of it.

That's where I got the idea from. I think they use R/A and B/R if I remember right. They're sync dual Avengers.

That's right. I remember that color combo now. Kind of a throw back to California rear deck lights with one amber and blue to the rear

:)

Not really "custom" per say, but I moved some stuff around... lol

It's a Whelen 8-Strobe Patriot Originally set up as the following.

Front:

Corner Strobe - TD - Strobe - Blank - Blank - Strobe - TD - Corner Strobe

Rear:

Corner Strobe - A 5MM - Strobe - A TIR-6 - A TIR-6 - Strobe - A 5MM - Corner Strobe

I moved the 2 rear strobe to the front and flipped the LED in the back. Now is like this.

Front:

Corner Strobe - Strobe - TD - Strobe - Strobe - TD - Strobe - Corner Strobe

Rear:

Corner Strobe - A TIR-6 - Blank - A 5MM - A 5MM - Blank - A TIR-6 - Corner Strobe

And here's a vid...

Is this the replacement for the Edge 9622 that you had on there before? I am a big fan of the patriot bars since that and the Liberty are the only ones that seem to look right on my vehicle.

Custom LED Code 360.

Ever since these bad boys came out I'd wanted one. But I never understood why the never fully utilized the space/shape of the bar. Same goes for the Able 2 Stealth Bar. Had a stealth for many years, would still have it today but the damn thing flew off my roof (gasp). I set out to change that. Now I have a bar that really makes a statement, especially at off-axis/ 45 degree intersection angle.

Stock versions of the Code 360 are always such an inefficient waste of space that I wonder why they even bothered. Something like this would be a lot better - they could use bigger rotators on the top level to better catch the light in the left-hand setup:

I like the first one you have their with the slant rotators. Problem with that is,the angle/slant of the upper domes make it almost impossible to mount anything larger than a linz head (hint :wink) Probably spent a good combined 20+hrs messing around with various makes of rotators to get something to fitwhile still keeping the lower tier accessible/useable. a custom platform is needed to use rotators the way you have it there. Nothing a piece of aluminum and a saw can't handle :)

soon as i fig out how to upload video to you tube ill post a link to it

The end of the video is what makes the bar special. Constant "on time" @ your intersection angle

Well... you could always try Jetstream rotators, right? I mean, it's not as if they're incredibly dim or anything like that... :D

Star Sabre lightbars are available with rotators and they're only like 2 inches tall, check them out. No way in hell those won't fit!

A quick diagram of some of the work those mirrors will do in my post above:

ai.imgur.com_MjNxo.jpg

Seriously, get a pair of Sabre rotators for the outboard position, shift them forward like that, and put in a set of mirrors.

Custom MX7k

Custom Jetstream

Custom Aerodynic

etc to name a few :)

The first bar I am showing off is my friend AMUIR's, it is a 48" whelen patriot lfl bar with the following;

Front:

2-corner strobes

4-lin6 leds

2-500 series strobes

Rear:

2-corner strobes

4-lin6 leds

2-5mm 500 series leds

Sides:

2-500 series halogen alleys

led cruise lights

This bar has the upgraded IO board that allows the traffic advisor patterns as well as scan lock wires for both led and strobes. Currently the bar is all blue to the front and blue and amber to the rear. We removed the take downs to add into the already existing led harness for the lin6. Bar as a combo of blue, clear and amber lenses.

Video of leds and strobes on:

****Both of these bars were purchased as project bars they had strobes out, were red/ blue lenses and leds, we did alot of trading, replacing and swapping to get these to the condition they're in now. Both bars are for sale or for trade I will be adding a post to the for sale section if anyone here is interested****

Lets hear what everyone thinks of the bars as well as any comments or suggestions on the bars, thanks for looking guys and girls! :)
