Minitor V relay for...coffee pot?

So we had a crazy idea floating around the other night.  I know most people have done station alerting systems with a M5 relay, but what about for a fresh cup of java after a late night call?  Add a relay to the outlet that our coffee pot is on, so when the tones drop, it starts brewing a fresh pot of coffee.  That way, when we get back to the station (or if someone arrives to stand by) there's a fresh pot of coffee ready to go.  Reset the relay/breaker when done and have it on standby for the next one.  For something like this, what would be the easiest route to go about with it?  I think it would be a fun side project at the firehouse, since it virtually revolves around coffee

have the coffee pot plug on a timer as well.  minitor turns on timer, timer turns off pot,  after 20-30 min timer turns off pot.  no fire, no cats and dogs living together,  and no cross political families.

Firehouse roulette; which call is going to burn the place down...

In all honesty we have a bun. Takes 5 min to brew a whole pot.

Seems like a solution in search of a problem to me. Get a good coffee maker that's plumbed in, and it will keep water hot all the time. Put coffee and filter in, hit button, bingo... pot done in 5 minutes.

If you feel a need to automate this process, you likely already have an automated button-presser on hand. They're called rookies or probies.

Or if it's a long call, and no one comes to stand by, you get back to the station to find it burned down by the unattended coffee pot.
A lot of what JazzDad says is complete and total nonsense.... this is not.

Whoa!  OK, here's another idea, back in the complete and total nosense realm: Keep the pump engaged while you drive back to the station.  Do not open the steamer line.  At the station, open the pump drain valve and get some nice hot water for the coffee.  (Strain out the impeller debris.)
