I am learning to rebuild the electric motors that power these lights and bars.  If you have any seized up, non working motors that you are thinking of throwing out, I would like to have them to learn on.  If I get them fixed and you want them back, I will return for price of parts and postage which should be less than $15. If we can save the original motors it helps preserve the originality of the light.

Let me know and I will give you my address.

Any limitations as to voltage? 6v, 12v? I may have two for you to work on that I would like back if you got them working.

Tony P, is this the best spot to advertise this question?  Or should I put in under Vintage and Collectible?

At this time, this is the most appropriate section. Should you choose to upgrade to a Silver level (or higher) membership, I would have you place it in the "Services" section.

Too bad, I just threw out a twinsonic motor that was seized up but I still have a 6V FS beacon ray motor that might work but the wire coming out of the housing is messed up and needs to be replaced. You can have it, PM me if your interested.

Ok. I have plenty of practice motors. Thanks to those who sent me some. I will continue to repair motors you want fixed and take any you just want to get rid of.  I will fix most motors for $15 including parts! Plus shipping.  That will keep most repairs under $25 estimating shipping at $5 each way.
