Rotators in the grill, on the hood, on the fender or "down low"

My brother tried the 14 inside the car...ONCE!  And never did it again!  It was an early morning run in rural Oldham Co. KY.  He unplugged it after 3 or 4 revolutions.  He said it was worse than being on a disco dance floor.
I remember seeing this brochure (for the model 14 inside mounting bracket) as a child and realizing it was a bad idea. What the hell were they thinking?

Somehow I don't think that it was meant to be used while driving.  People's heads inside the car would block the beams of flashing light.

In that case, the vehicle is not moving, so a 14M placed on the roof fills that need and faster than pulling the beacon up and into position from behind the seat.  And even with the driver out of the vehicle, the car's C-pillar is still going to create a block out area.

I don't know, I think this might have been a case of a solution in search of a problem.

I had an Jeep CJ7 many years back, and made a bracket that fit over the passenger seat.  I had a Fireball on it, with a high speed motor.  Not sure what was worse, the flash or the "rwwwrwwwrwwwrwwwrwwwwr" noise....
