If you're looking to sell, shoot me a message with your thoughtsInteresting sounds. I like the Sireno transition into Hy-lo. The Federal wail sounds kinda odds, but I like the Dietz Wail the best. You need my SF-506 Sonic to make your collection complete.
Ha! Thankfully there is enough distance between my basement and them that you can't hear itI bet the neighbors love you...LOL Love that North American....Nostalgic and awesome!
The sound is nice. It is surprisingly loud for only 25 watts. I have seen a few different iterations of it. I believe this is the older version.Interesting Tripp Lite. Compact but not a bad sound. Never seen one of those.
Added a coup
I believe it is for Europe / European model as it is designed to activate both the lightbar (first turn of knob that activates the blue light upper left) and the siren on the second turn. That P200E is pretty straight to the point lol, is that E for Europe or economy?
I used to, but everyone else did as well so I sold mine. Focusing on uncommonly seen for sirensNo sp mark sevens ?
That Dietz siren is something I've never seen before. I've never seen a siren light up its entire faceplate like that.
I like that slow Smith and Wesson yelp on that Omnisound siren. When I watch videos of fire engines using mechanical Q sirens and Powercall yelps, I'd love to substitute the Smith and Wesson yelp instead of the Powercall.
Wow that Code 3 is pure pre-merger NYC EMS. Especially when you were hitting the manualAdded a few more since the last
I agree. Similar in sound as wellThat cats eye look like a re branded s&w magnum.
The Cats-Eye 7707 is the same as the Smith & Wesson Magnum IV. The siren was also sold under the Stephenson and Dietz Omnisound brands. What I really like about these sirens is that they sound a lot like the siren in my avatar (Federal PA20A series 2D).This Cats-Eye 7701 is another that I have not seen before:
It sounds a lot like the Federal PA15 and PA20 sirens (c. 1962-1966). The PA15 and PA20 have wail, yelp, and alert (steady) tones just like the Dietz siren.Just picked this up from the MN Fire Engine Club!
