visor light being discontinued

I've heard the LED visor light is being discontinued. Of course I'm wondering why and could imagine one of a few typical scenarios (poor sales, new technology has antiquated this item, etc). I'm just curious if a replacement may be seen down the line? Thanks for your time.

Hello All - This item is still available in red/blue. We have no plans to discontinue red/blue anytime soon. Other colors simply were not in demand. Thanks!
