Waxahachie TX Police Officer Josh Williams

Officer Williams was pulling into a parking lot to cover another officer around 1:30 this morning when a drunk driver in a Suburban, doing 70mph with no lights on, slammed into the passneger side of Officer Williams's car. Officer Williams was seatbleted, the impact shoved the passenger seat, MDC, and console into the drivers area. Suspect is 24, and has a previous DWI conviction. Suspect fought with the State Troopers at the hospital when they tried to draw blood. He is still in the hospital with a lacerated liver as the most serious injury.
