Hey all,
Bought an HHS3200 off a buddy and a CANCTL7 off the interwebs, but found myself lacking the PA adapter. Looking at the control head wiring I'm noticing it looks like only 6 conductors out of the 8 are used for the control head... Is the adapter just connecting tip and ring of the mic plug to those two conductors? Or if someone could attach a photo of the internals of the adapter? Trying to save $60 here :) Thanks!

Its data, not as simple as two wires. There are actually 3 wires needed for a PA mic.

I work for a distributor, but we don’t have any spares on hand. So other than the usual, eBay, or FB buy and sell groups, no. You could call your closest distributor and see what they can do. They might have some laying around for cheaper. They do go bad occasionally, so someone might stock them.

I did take one apart and snap some pics. You could probably rig something to work. I would rather spend the money and do it right. Beat case scenario, its a little cobbled but works. Worst case, you fry your hhs.

Control head must only be using 5 pins I guess..or shared ground between PA and the head? Working off memory here. Either way, still probably worth paying for so you get the nice board and enclosure to hold everything and don't accidentally swap a pin and fry something. Thanks for the pics, and I'll let you know if I end up trying something and if it works :)
