I still think this deserves further discussion, etc. This is just too "cool" not to discuss, IMO. LED technology is finally surpassed Halogen.

Finally got to see these things in action today and WOW! What a light! It throws a ton of light... much more than I expected... It would be great to see them colored. I'm just gonna have to wait until the make the Whelen Pioneer Lightbar before buying one

What's the fun in waiting Seth? Just buy a few Pioneers and make one using an Edge frame or something similar. Be the first on the block with a Pioneer lightbar.

Whelen makes brackets to fit Pioneers onto Edge/Freedom bars. They're rather ungainly.
