Whelen SA315P Siren Speaker Mounting

Has anyone ever mounted this speaker on a 2013 f150 or any f150 in general? If so what bracket and what location ?

This is the 315P universal mounting bracket (following 3 photos):











On my 2011 F150, I use Whelen 314P speakers (slightly larger, but similar in size and mounting to the 315P). I mounted mine in the lower bumper opening (photo #1).


I made a cross brace from aluminum angle stock and mounted it to existing holes in the F150. I used the Whelen universal "L" brackets made for the 314. There is a virtually identical universal bracket made for the 315s (The difference is the 314 has a 4 hole speaker bolt pattern and the 315 has a 3 hole speaker pattern) (photos #2, 3 & 4).


I have since installed an aftermarket grille over the speaker opening that matches the style of the OEM grille (photo #4) and the OEM chrome grille has been replaced with a black OEM grille (photos #5 & 6).
