They were! Honestly my favorite whelen tones are the older alternate tones and I am a fan of the high pitched tones such as on the 295hf200. I had one for a bit before it died on me. RIP, anyways the Whelen Riot tone was a unique and interesting tone, wish they would of kept it

Yes, I too prefer the older whelen tones from the 80s. The higher pitched.. while they get more attention, have been so overused, they are boring.
