I have 2 Whelen SlimLighter. A/A WAS $140 NOW $110 shipped each or WAS $260 NOW $150 for both shipped. Not sure of the date code, very little use, only 20 hours. The cords on both are cut, about 2 to 3 feet, per light.

DOM is critical with Whelen amber LEDs

The new much brighter amber LEDs came out in late 2011.

I believe you can call Whelen and tell them the serial number and they can get you the DOM.  But yes, it's a pretty big deal for those who know lights.
