xt3 problem

I have a pair of xt3s that I'm trying to sync up and it's giving me problems. I connected the yellow wire from the 2 lights together and they seem to sync at slightly diffrent speeds and I can't make them alternate. Attempts to find a manual online met with negative results.

I did that. But when I cycle through the patterns there is no alternate flash just simultaneous.

If I recall, there is 1 set of regular flash patterns, and then a second set of sync patterns.

That's what I thought. I cycled through the patterns several times and they never went to alternating flash.

You have to set light A to the flash pattern you like. You set light B to the second series flash pattern that matches. Sync and turn on.
