Looks like an RF6 to me(see attached pic of one). The OP pics mirror this image and not that of a NAS 250 series. The 250 series retaining band screws through the band and into the base of the beacon. I do not see this in the OP's pics. Chris.

Agreed, it's an alert tone generated from a dispatcher console used for public safety. Not a CB radio.

I believe LS344 is the correct OEM dome for this model. Parts/domes can still be found with a bit of looking through the internet. Chris

I would say the picture is of a K D Lamp Co model 886. I've attached a picture of the one I have in my collection for reference. Other companies made similar designs of a carrier with optics that rotated around a single bulb, but the 886 is what is in your picture. Chris

Absolutely, I'm sure this model was used on aircraft and later adopted for automotive use as warning lights on vehicles became more mainstream. They are well built lights and have stood the test of time.
