Has anyone found an effective means to install the LP bracket on a 2010 Suburban/Tahoe? They work so well on the Chargers in my fleet, I'd love to use them on the SUVs.

The LP brackets will only work on the LTZ because the bumpers different... Two options... mount a lighhead on the front quartpanel/bumper... or do what I did here... viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6355&hilit=holy+grail

Nice thread! Out of curiosity, do you notice any differences in performance between mounting a TIR style light vs a Linear style vertically? Such as on your Intersection Bracket or the side of a pushbumper? Will the Linear style give you better "spread" and be more easily seen by drivers in higher-up vehicles as it spreads the light out more?

If I may jump in...you can order optics for vertical mount tir style lights...otherwise yes, output is affected - the lighthead is otherwise intended to be mounted horizontally. IIRC.

Wow! Those are the most Ghosts that I ever saw on one vehicle!! Why did the customer go with gen 1 lighting to the rear?

I LOVE that Tahoe. I especially love the chameleon stick on the rear. My FD's captains truck has one, and even being Gen I, it grabs attention just by changing colors and what not.

Now I remember why I miss my vollie days in northern VA. The departments actually spec'd out their vehicles and spent money on them. Tennessee is way behind. Awesome job on all the installs I've looked at on this thread, I'm quite jealous.

yes custom. this was a proto type. We have designed a bracket that allows for 6 ghosts (3 each side) to be mounted and gives you arrow stick and warning functions.
