1500 or 3000 lumens for reverse lights?

Right now a I have a pair of SOS nForce on my rear plate. They are red/clear. The clear comes on in reverse and/or with a switch. I also have red and clear leds in my taillights. I have them on a simple single flash. Basically like a tail light flasher.

Well, I been changing my lights around again. I have a Whelen Dominator 8 coming. It is amber with red ends. I thought with the nForce and the leds in the tail lights, that it would be too much? So I was thinking about some Rigid leds under the rear bumper for reverse lights. The SR-Q are 1568 lumens each. (x2) The SR-M are 784 lumens each. Would the SR-Q's be overkill? I have no idea how many lumens the nForce are to get an idea to compare them to. The pic is the nForce. Opinins or thoughts?

I have a 2004 Explorer. I was thinking a D4 for the side rear window?

Thanks

Eric

We put alot of duallys on trucks around here for reverse. They really make it awesome backing up with tint. I dont think you will have a problem with either one of those.

the more light the better. i have two 1350 lumen led flood lights on either side of my tow hitch on a dodge ram 1500. 2700 lumens is a decent amount of light. but the more the merrier!

Its like asking a fat kid if he wants a slice of cake or the whole cake. Of course the fat kid is gonna take the whole thing. ;)

I wish Rigid would come out with a mount for a license plate like there are for all the other leds. I just might have to go with the SR-Q's.
